About Bhedesh

I am a second-year undergraduate student in Chemical Engineering at the University of Toronto, with a strong interest in research at the interface of biotechnology and applied chemistry. This summer, I will be working on designing and optimizing CRISPR-responsive hydrogels for controlled dye release, under the co-supervision of Prof. Nicole Weckman. This project will contribute to broader efforts in developing accessible point-of-care diagnostic biosensors. Outside of the lab, I am passionate about music, nature photography, and fitness. I also enjoy exploring the intersection of science and creativity through art and film.
