Postdoctoral Fellows - Hiring for January 2026
We are currently seeking a motivated and creative postdoctoral researcher with expertise in polymer synthesis and materials characterization to join our interdisciplinary research group. The position will focus on the development of novel polymer materials and nanoparticles for applications in diabetes. For more details see a more detailed description here.

Graduate Students interested in Fall 2026:
Students typically email out to indicate interest in graduate school from October through February. However, to be eligible for recruiting events you should be prepared to submit your application to BME by early January. If interested in conducting graduate research in our group, please email Caitlin with a cover letter and CV.

Undergraduate Students interested in Summer 2026:
If interested in working with my group as a summer research student, please email a CV, cover letter, and unofficial transcript to Caitlin by January 23th 2026. After January 23th, top candidates will be invited to meet with Caitlin.

I typically aim to respond to all student emails within a week. If you haven’t received a response after one week, please follow-up with a second email. If “Prospective Student” is not included in the subject line of your email it may be missed.
Recruiting Events:
BME holds two recruitment events each year:
Lab matchmaking (end of January) - Rapid virtual meetings that allow you to meet with many BME faculty, learn about their research, and share your own interests for grad school.
Graduate research day (February 21) - Top prospective students will be invited to the university for meetings with faculty, current students, and lab tours.
To be considered for BME recruitment events you must submit your application to BME no later than early January (deadline TBA).
